Investment & Retirement Specialists - Intern

• Must be a rising junior or senior
• 3.0 or above GPA required
• Must be available to work May 14th through August 3rd
• Wage: $18.50 per hour

The position that the intern would be working most closely with is the Personal Investment & Retirement Consulting team's Investment & Retirement Specialists. This role serves as a paraplanner to senior planners, being the first person to review the asset allocation and retirement planning questionnaire that clients fill out-for-written asset allocation and retirement plans. The role is required to input the data from the questionnaire and supporting account statements using MoneyGuidePro software and may require follow-up conversations with clients for clarification.

Purpose and Mission
• Serve as a paraplanner to senior planners on the team.
• Receive, review, and input information provided from clients through questionnaires and internal and outside account statements.
• Follow· up with clients for clarification may be required before handing off to a senior planner for final completion of the plan.
• As time permit, interns will be able to shadow senior planners through completion of a plan.

Requirements and Qualifications

Preferred Degree Program: Finance/ Financial Planning
• Interest in Financial Planning/Investments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Comfort with data input

• Must be a rising junior or senior
• 3.0 or above GPA required
