Contracts and Sourcing Intern
Note: This is an intern position. You must be a rising college junior or senior with a 3.0 GPA.
The intern will learn about the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement process from cradle to grave; assist with converting data into the new contract management system; assist with developing spend analytics; and assist with the National Discount Program.
Purpose and Mission
The SS&P intern will assist with the following projects:
1) ContractWorks Contract Management System
a) Implement conversion of documents in CMS to ContractWorks
i) Rename files
ii) Ensure parent-child relationships
iii) Verify/update data
iv) File uploads
b) Assist with current contract documents, as determined
2) RFP Repository
a) RFP folders (physical/electronic)
b) NDA tracking
3) National Discount Program
a) Update webpage content
b) Contact Suppliers for contact updates
c) Data analysis
4) Additional tasks and assignments as deemed appropriate.
Requirements and Qualifications
Supply Chain Management or Business Administration degree program
Applicants should be a rising junior or senior Supply Chain Management or Business Administration and be proficient with using Microsoft Office applications. Attentions to detail, the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are essential to this position. Additionally, the intern needs to have strong analytical skills and a can do attitude.
This is an intern position.
3.0 or above GPA required and Must be a rising junior or senior
Dates: May 14th through August 3rd
Wages: $18.50 per hour
