Note: This is an intern position. You must be a rising college junior or senior with a 3.0 GPA.
To provide a rising junior or senior who is majoring in accounting an opportunity to learn more about corporate accounting and various roles within a corporate accounting department. Additionally, we want to provide opportunities to link the classroom learning to real world application.
Purpose and Mission
The Finance internship will be rotational to provide the intern with the ability to learn about our Mutual Fund Accounting team, Corporate Accounting Team, Insurance and Financial Services Accounting Team, Finance Operations and Strategic Sourcing and Procurement. The intern will spend between 2 and 4 weeks with each team during the internship. Each team will provide the intern with opportunities to learn and apply their accounting knowledge to real world situations. During the internship the intern will be assigned a budget team and assist with our annual budgeting process. At the end of the internship the intern will do a presentation to Finance on the things they were able to work on, and to provide the team with an update on their intern project.
Requirements and Qualifications
B.S. in Accounting or B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting
Applicants should be a rising junior or senior accounting major with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills is essential to this position. Additionally, the intern needs to have strong analytical skills and a can do attitude.

3.0 or above GPA required and Must be a rising junior or senior
Dates: May 14th through August 3rd
Wages: $18.50 per hour
